WELCOME TO COQUITLAM
Coquitlam’s history begins back in early 1800s when the explorer Simon Fraser came across it. It was known as a place “in-between” to provide access to the Royal Engineers in New Westminster to the port facilities in Port Moody. It is now the sixth largest city in British Columbia – not bad for a “in-between” place.
Coquitlam is as beautiful as ever and is rapidly developing to provide a place called home to many who chooses to settle here. What does that imply? More services, more amenities, and a greater choice of restaurants and shops to choose from for local residents and visitors.
Now it can be easily accessed through new Skytrain extension that goes all the way to the Town Center.
